Councillor Meetings
Local Councillors are elected, through local elections, by the community to decide how the council should carry out its various activities. They represent public interest as well as individuals living within the ward in which he or she has been elected to serve a term of office.
Our Local Councillors are in regular contact with Hooley residents through council meetings, telephone calls or surgeries. Surgeries is a great opportunity to have a face to face meeting and takes place once a month at Nelson’s Bar and Pizzeria.
Date of next meeting, tba.
Our Local Community
We are passionate about Hooley and local residents, we do our best to get the community together by hosting seasonal events at Nelson’s Bar and Pizzeria to suit all. We were fortunate to host a street party for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee with live music, face painting, BBQ, food and drink stalls - it was a great way in bringing the community together and a great effort by all.
We continue to support our local community, one way is by sharing with you a few businesses that we highly recommend. Help us in creating a community where everyone is connected – If you use social media, please support your local businesses by hitting that Follow button, sharing to your friends and family and if you use any of their services, be sure to leave a good review – Thank you.
